Snapsak was founded and inspired by parents who work closely with our children’s schools. With school funding tightening every year, running fundraisers has become an increasingly important way of providing important educational programs and activities that sometimes get squeezed out of tight budgets.
However, parents are so often so busy that even dedicated volunteers can have trouble running fundraisers that are inspiring and profitable and won’t take a huge amount of time to organize and run.
Snapsak is meant to provide part of the answer to this challenge. Shopping for school supplies can be a stressful task , generally involving fighting the crowds at multiple stores in search of the right products. Shopping online can also be complex and unpredictable. Other companies have tried to address this problem, but we found that their prices were usually too high and the contribution to their school partners was too low. It was hard to get buy-in from our parents.
At that point we decided to do it ourselves and design a program which was focused directly on the needs of students, parents and school organizations. We provide trusted brand name products at great prices while offering the most generous support possible to the school organizations that help our kids.

If you would like your organization to partner with Snapsak, here’s how to proceed:
1. Designate a contact person from your organization, usually the fundraising chair, clerical staff or other volunteer.
2. Register with Snapsak to set up a partner account and receive a partner code.
3. Collect supply lists from each teacher in your school and send them to us.
4. Inform your school community of our partnership and refer them to Snapsak.com to purchase their school supplies.
5. Parents will visit our site, locate their list and make their purchase. They will enter your partner code at checkout to insure proper credit goes to your organization.
